I have a very deep Faith in God who is my Heavenly Father!

I have been saved by the shed blood of his Son Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvery. I beleave in a Risen Saviour who now sits on the right hand of God. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit co-equal. Jesus will return to claim His chosen people, the called according to His Will. Jesus has said in His Holy Word the Bible that no one comes to the Father but by me.

Our Anniversary is March 28th. 1965. I have been married to a wonderful man for all these years! He loves God and His ways. We have always seeked Gods will in our lives. I am a mother of two fine sons, a mother-in-law to two special girls and I have one very handsome grandson who has a very special girl friend. I am a retired activities director at a long term care facility. I volunteer at our local food pantry, it is called The Samaritan Center.. I feel so blessed to have been able to help there since I have retired. My hobbies are flower arranging in baskets and other containers, also wall decorations. I have had the honor of designing and creating the flowers for several weddings. My husband and I enjoy fishing at the lake near by us. We both enjoy flea marketing and reminiscing about the good old days gone by.

Our lives evolve around our children, family and friends and our church family. I also have the privilege of singing in the choir at our church. A little Southern Baptist Church that is over one hundred years old.

I especially like to spend all the time I can on my computer. I have made so many friends online the past ten years. The computer is such a good learning experence for me with always something new to do, such as blogging and my groups.

I have loved Jesus as my Savior since I was eleven years old. I depend on Him to direct my life as I could do nothing without Him.

LLC Hendrickson Publishers Marketing| Everyday Matters Bible for Women ISBN-10: 1598567055 |ISBN-13: 978-1598567052 | Format: Hard Cover | Pages: 1603 Today’s Christian Woman is so busy handling the challenges of day-to-day life that spending time in the Word can easily become yet another ‘should’ buried in that growing list of daily ‘musts.’ Created in partnership with Kyria.com,Christianity Today’s women’s magazine, the Everyday Matters Bible for Women is designed to help women develop spiritual practices that will make their lives richer, not harder. It offers practical encouragement and tools to renew, reinvigorate and restore meaning to everyday life.
******************************************************************************* I received my Everyday Matters Bible for Women one week ago today. I was so excited to see it and have the privilege of being one of the reviewers from the Christian Women Review Crew at Christian Women Affiliate. I am so pleased to be reviewing this wonderful Bible for busy women of today. . . . . .................................................................................... . . . .*So, here is my Review!* . . I have always depended upon the King James Version Bible for my daily devotional reading. I have a New International Version too. I was glad to see this "Everyday Matters Bible for Women" is in the New Living Translation. This translation makes the reading of it even more the modern way women and men speak today. . . . I especially like the way this Bible features twenty-four disciplines to help us to receive power and strength and make everyday life more meaningful. Each discipline is represented by a colorful icon whose illustration is a reminder of its meaning. . . . The contemporary language of the New Living Translation combines with content from today’s foremost Christian leaders to help readers understand and apply spiritual discipline. Every discipline is explored in four different ways making them easier to understand. . . . I told my Pastor about this wonderful Bible and how it should help me and many others with their daily Bible study and also our group studies. It will make a very good Reference Bible too. . . I will recommend this translation to my friends, because everyday matters and so does every busy Woman of God! . .  Don't Give Up!

When God gives you a dream, you can be sure you'll run into delays, difficulties, detours and dead ends along the way. They are a natural part of life. But you can be ready for them. Now if anybody h
ad a right to be discouraged, it was Noah. Do you know how long it took Noah to build the ark? 120 years! Could you go 120 years on a project without one word of encouragement from anybody else in society?

Noah trusted God. And when he heard God's warning about the future, Noah believed Him even though there was no sign of a flood. I bet there were many days that Noah didn't feel like going to work, but for 43,800 days, he went to the same place and he worked. He never gave up.

Don't give up on your dream either. Don't give up on the marriage. Don't give up on your health. Don't, don't, don't give up. God is in control! You haven't read the final chapter of your life. God's already written it, but you haven't read it yet. The Bible says, "God is always on the alert, constantly on the lookout for people who are totally committed to Him." God is looking for people that He can bless. I want you to be one of those people.

Don't give up!
