Simply let the Praises and Worship begin!

Today is a good day! God says that it is good.

My husband and I attended our 10 A.M. Sunday School Class this morning. It is a Bible study with other seniors. Our class is called " The Ventures Class" for retired Adults at Calhoun Baptist Church. Our lesson was about how Jesus was betrayed by Judas and deserted by all of His closest friends (His disciples) when He was in the Garden of Gethsemane. He was there to pray because He knew what agony was ahead for Him. His disciples did not understand what would happen to Him. They could not even stay awake to support Him.
Will He find us staying awake to spread the news about the Salvation we all can have through His sacrifice on the cross for the sins of a lost world?

Then we had our Worship Service at 11 A.M. Our guest speaker was a wonderful speaker that got his message straight out of the Word of God! He started in the book of Genesis. In the beginning......

This is the day that the Lord has made and He saw that it was good.
