Here is my Review~ I have thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is a six week study with five study days for each week. The object of the book is to help us realize just what the things are we have in our lives that can be considered idols or gods These gods keep us from spending valuable time in worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It could be our cell phones, computers, television or any other thing we do instead of keeping our selves true to our commitment in serving God and developing our gifts the Lord has given us to do his service. This study can help you experience the Lord and his ways like you have never been able to do before. You can read the book and do the different studies each week by yourself as I have or you can share the experiences with a group. There is a "Leaders Guide" for a six week Bible Study using the writers examples or you can make your own for each day in the six different weeks. She suggests opening each session with a prayer and prayer request. It is a very informal study and I believe I would like to lead a group of ladies and use this book. When we accept Jesus as our Savior,,,,that is not the end of it. We must turn from our worldly ways and strive to keep our hearts and mind upon what is important to being a Christ-server.
