More Important
===============
"We trust, Sir, that God is on our side."
"It is more important to know that we are on God's side."
~Abraham Lincoln~
This is Deanie's World! First and most important to me is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all mankind! I post my articles only to glorify Him, my Saviour! This site consist of things about God and His Son Jesus! Also, it is about my family that is so dear to me! My husband and children and all of my extended family and friends.

Tell Them Now
==============
If with pleasure you are viewing
Any work a man is doing,
If you like him or you love him tell him now.
Don't withhold your approbation
Till the parson makes oration
And he lies with snowy lilies on his brow,
For no matter how you shout it
He won't really care about it
He won't know how many teardrops you have shed
So if some praise is due him
Now's the time to slip it to him
For he cannot read his tombstone when he's dead.
More than fame and more than money
Is the comment kind and sunny
And the hearty warm approval of a friend,
For it gives to life a savor
And it makes you stronger, braver,
And it gives you heart and courage to the end.
If he earns your praise, bestow it
If you like him, let him know it
Let the words of true encouragement be said.
Do not wait till life is over
And he's underneath the clover,
For he cannot read his tombstone when he's dead and under clover.

Mom Lived Her Life for Love of Friends and Family
Mom lived her life for love of friends and family,
Neither asking for nor wanting a return.
Her days became a sunlit homily,
With others' joy her joy and main concern.
When we were ill, she also became sick;
When we were cut, she, too, began to bleed.
Of our oil lamp she was the wick,
Drawing her bright flame from our need.
Some say that such behavior's out of date:
That self-fulfillment is the way to grace.
But Mom, without much choice, then chose her fate,
Finding greater truth in an embrace.
She lives on in the sparkle in our eyes:
Laughing, quiet, gentle, loving, wise.

You Know Better Than To Do That!
======================
1. You have been warned more than once not to do that.
2. You know better than to eat that, it isn't good for you.
3. No, you can't buy that!
You have already used up your spare money (if you had any to
begin with) on stuff you really didn't need.
4. You need to apologize. The words you spoke in anger hurt.
5. See that fat around your stomach?
You need to get more exercise.
6. You eat way too many sweets.
7. You watch way too much TV.
8. You are too self-centered;
you don't share what you have been blessed with.
9. Yes, it hurts now, but you would not be in this pain if you
had done what you knew was right from the start.
10. No matter what it is, a kiss from someone you love will make
it better.
These are ten things that I have told my three and six-year-old
recently.
What?
Who did you think I was talking to?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Although I have told each of those statements in one form or another
to the six or three-year-old, it is in a far gentler form and with great
love.
The correction of wrong direction is one of the most difficult
portions of parenthood and ministry. Perhaps that is why adults
are so often called "children" in scripture.

Nance's New York Cheesecake
2 8 oz. pkgs. softened cream cheese
3 eggs, room temperature
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla (or lemon) extract
1 T finely grated lemon rind
1 1/2 cups Splenda (or to taste)
Place all ingredients in your mixer bowl and mix until everything is smoothly
creamed together.
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Generously spray a muffin tin with non-stick
spray and fill with cheesecake mixture. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake for
about 35 minutes or until set. Cheesecake will look puffy and lightly golden. For
a moister cheesecake, bake a few minutes less. Let cool then place in
freezer. Individual cheesecakes may need the edge of a paring knife to loosen them.
Place them in a freezer bag and take one out about an hour before eating.
Approximately 3 grams of carb and a 12 day supply of cheesecakeĆ¢€¦if you can eat just
one a day:)
